Welcome to my blog page, and thanks for dropping by!! I am so excited to share my cruise vacation thoughts. Over the years my friends have told me I should write a book or a blog. I have never taken myself too seriously and nor should you. This blog contains my view points and as you may find real quick, it may not be yours. That is okay with me, and hopefully it will be okay with you! What fun is always agreeing with everyone?
I hope to share cruise vacation information that is useful and stories that you might find interesting. My post may not always be about a cruise.
I served in the Marines for over 21 years and traveled the world, mostly on independent assignments. I found I really enjoyed going to far off exotic lands and meeting new people. Having visited over forty countries, I have my favorites and there are those I hope to never see again. Sorry, Mali, no thanks. I will take Bali over Mali any day.
My wife and I love cruising, we love the cruise ships and meeting their staff as much as we enjoy the fellow travelers and the destinations. Today’s cruise ships have become a “destination” in and of themselves.
It is romantic and therapeutic to board a “resort” on the water for a week and let yourself be pampered. The wide open seas, the fresh air, the spacious ships and their staff all invite us back. While it is always nice to return home, we always do so with the next cruise in mind.
Please let me know if there are specific topics you want to read about, it will be my pleasure to share as much as I can!
